Troop 119 generally has one camping event per month, usually either car camping or backpacking. We typically meet at 5:00-5:30 and depart at 6:00 PM on Friday evenings from the South Mecklenburg Presbyterian Church parking lot, and return around noon on Sunday.

Monday - Friday / September 8-12 (Troop 219 adult leaders are required)
5:00 pm - 8:30 each evening
Responsibilities include: Initial vegetable prep and chopping, ingredient mixing and portioning of cooked product from previous evening into 1 quart containers for sale (Tuesday thru Friday).
BBQ Cooking information:
Monday - September 15 Troop BBQ - BBQ grill and outdoor tent/canopy set up - Troop 119 meeting time (6:30-8:00 pm) - both unit's Scout are required to attend and help with set up of the kitchen and outside cooking areas @ SMPC.
Wednesday - September 17 Troop BBQ - equipment and facility set up day- Kitchen and Commons Hall - Troop 119 PLC leaders must attend @ 6:00 pm
Thursday - September 18 Troop BBQ - Thursday 1st cooking day / night
Friday - September 19 Troop BBQ - Church Lock-in (Friday night) and BBQ packaging (Scouts and adults sleep over)
Sat. & Sun. - Sept. 20-21 Troop BBQ / Chili distribution Saturday 10-2 / Sunday 9-12
FINAL BBQ and Vegan Chili PICK UP - Monday / October 6. All remaining BBQ and chili will be considered a donation to the Troop!
